The event on July 15th, 2011, was attended by high-ranking representatives from commercial enterprises in a wide range of sectors, as well as professors and students from Fresenius University of Applied Sciences. The specific initial proposition of the event was: "The selection and requirement criteria of companies, the educational opportunities offered by universities, and the skills and expectations of graduates should be optimally aligned and relate to real demands." Four of these requirements were examined together in parallel workshops ("Multicultural Teams," "PD/OD in Global Companies," "Diversity within Germany (Old/Young, Male/Female)," and "Virtual World - New Media") and in plenary discussions. Finally, everyone came together in the plenary hall to take part in an exciting swarm intelligence exercise which we carried out with our cooperation partner, Michael Hengl.
